We produce and provide accessible textbooks and picture books using DAISY technology for children and pupils with print disabilities such as developmental and learning disabilities, and other difficulties in reading.
DAISY stands for "Digital Accessible Information System.” DAISY books help the user understand the content by allowing them to hear the audio simultaneously with the highlighted text.
Once a month, while discussing the textbook or picture book to be produced, we work on (1) creating the text, (2) reading and recording it, (3) editing it on the PC using the production software, and (4) checking it using playback software at home.
