大阪・関西万博　国際赤十字・赤新月運動館運営スタフ活動 -Volunteering at the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement Pavilion, Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai-

このたび、大阪・関西万博の国際赤十字・赤新月運動館にて、運営ボランティアとして活動いたしました。
5日間という短い期間ではありましたが、日本で開催される万博にスタッフとして携わることができ、非日常的で貴重な経験となりました。私は主に誘導や海外からのゲストの案内などを担当し、語学力を実際の場面で活かす機会も多くありました。
会場は連日多くの来場者で賑わいましたが、全国から集まった赤十字の仲間と協力し合い、ワンチームとして取り組むことで大きなトラブルもなく運営を進めることができました。現場では柔軟な対応が求められることを実感し、周囲との連携の大切さを学びました。今回得た経験を、今後の語学奉仕団での活動にも活かしていきたいと思います。

I had the privilege of volunteering at the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement Pavilion during the Expo 2025 in Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
Although I only volunteered for five days, it was still a truly extraordinary and very rewarding experience to be part of the staff at an Expo held in Japan. Most of the time, I was responsible for guiding and assisting international guests, which allowed me to really use my language skills in a practical setting.
Despite the pavilion being extremely crowded every day, by working together as a team, we were able to operate smoothly without any major issues. With fellow Red Cross members from all across Japan, the sense of solidarity and mutual support made the experience even more meaningful.
Over my five days, I was able to gain not only practical skills but also to grow on a personal level too. I truly appreciate having been given such an opportunity, and I will apply the lessons learned and experience gained going forward.
