大阪・関西万博　国際赤十字・赤新月運動館運営　スペシャルデー通訳活動 -World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day Interpreting at the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement Pavilion, Expo 2025, Osaka -

赤十字の創設者アンリー・デュナンの誕生日に、「スペシャルデー」が開催されました。青少年赤十字加盟校の皆さんによる音楽演奏が、会場に華やかさを添え、活動への参加を呼びかけました。
多彩な催しの進行を支援する中で、合唱曲「しあわせ運べるように」が披露されました。作詞・作曲者である臼井真さんご本人の指揮による演奏が始まると、会場は感動に包まれ、スタンディングオベーションが巻き起こりました。

A special commemorative event was held on the birthday of Henry Dunant, the founder of the Movement. Students from schools affiliated with the Junior Red Cross in Japan gave a musical performance, adding a festive touch to the day and encouraging people to get involved in Red Cross activities.
The performance featured a varied program, with a particularly moving moment occurring when the choral piece Shiawase Hakoberu Youni (Bring Happiness to the World) was performed. When the performance began, conducted by its composer and lyricist, Mr. Makoto Usui himself, the entire venue was charged with emotion, and the audience responded with a standing ovation.
