Exploring the Mukojima area.

On May 16.2023, we toured the Mukojima, an area in downtown Tokyo, with Cindy from Canada who needed wheelchair assistance.
After meeting at the hotel, we dined at a typical Japanese restaurant and enjoyed a selection of seafood. After that, we headed for the Mukojima-Hyakkaen Gardens. Since it had rained the day before, we were a bit worried about the weather.
Fortunately, it turned out to be fair with a pleasant breeze that blew through the area.
We then moved on to Shirahige-Jinja which is a shrine with a history of more than 1,000 years. While there, we offered our personal wishes. We also bought and ate some local Mukojima sweets, Jimankusa mochi and Chomeiji Sakura mochi. Finally, we looked at a Ryotei(a high-end restaurant serving mostly traditional Japanese cuisine)and Kenban(Geisha establishments)from outside before returning to the hotel.
